December Prayer Points
Shalom, friends,
As we come to the end of 2024, we want to thank you for your faithful prayer and standing in the gap for our ministry, Israel and our Jewish people. Unprecedented numbers of Jewish people are open to hearing the gospel today, which is only possible through a move by the Lord and persistent prayer. We are so grateful for your partnership in building the Lord’s kingdom. We’d like to encourage you with this Scripture:
I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:3-6)
Please stand in prayer with us for:
the new Jewish contacts we have made this past year. Pray that they will continue to receive the truth of Yeshua and soon come to follow Him as their Messiah.
the Jewish followers of Yeshua whom we are disciplining, including Jewish-Gentile couples. Pray that the Lord will continue to build them up in their faith and bring them to maturity in His Kingdom.
the Lord to circumcise the hearts of His Jewish people (Deuteronomy 10:16; 30:6) and open their eyes to the true identity of Jesus, the Messiah, the Light of the world.
our planned outreaches for next year. Pray that the Lord will continue to connect us with the right ministry partners and that we will clearly follow the Lord’s leading in preparation for these events. Please pray in particular for our Passover outreach.
the ongoing conflicts in Israel and Ukraine, which impact scores of Jewish people daily. Pray that even amid the turmoil of war, more and more people will find salvation in Messiah Jesus.
health and protection for our team and the Jews for Jesus staff worldwide so that we won’t be kept from effective ministry to our Jewish people.
the body of Messiah in South Africa to rise up and take a stand against anti-Semitism, showing the Jewish community their support and, in doing so, provoke our Jewish people to jealousy so that they might be saved.
leaders and those engaging in anti-Semitism, that they will repent before the Lord and bless Israel.
May the Lord richly bless you and your family this holiday season as we remember and celebrate the birth of our Messiah, the Saviour of the world!
In Him,
The Jews for Jesus South Africa Team
